1753 Joannes Baptista Guadagnini violin

Joannes Baptista Guadagnini (1711-1786) worked and established himself as a master maker in five different cities during his 75 year life span. His stay in Milan 1750-1758, was a period of discovery and self-expression. We see confidence in his work and choice of materials, and we hear strength in the voice of these works.

This violin dated 1753 is a well preserved example that delivers that strength and quality of sound so sought after and needed for the performing artist of today.
