1706 Brott-Turner Tecchler cello 

David Tecchler built this cello in Rome. Tecchler produced some 50 cellos, which are highly valued and sought after for their rich sonorous tone. This was the first instrument acquired for the Musical Instrument Bank and it is on loan to Denis Brott for the duration of his career.
