Canadian violinist Lucy Wang is a chamber musician, soloist and content creator who is dedicated to sharing music and creating meaningful connections with audiences around the world. She is a founding member of the Canadian-American Viano String Quartet, which captured international attention as the winner of the 2019 Banff International String Quartet Competition. Since then, Lucy has gone on to perform across three continents with the ensemble, which is currently the June Goldsmith Quartet-in-Residence at Music in the Morning in Vancouver, and was also recently named ensemble-in-residence at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center’s Bowers Program from 2024–2027. In addition to touring with the quartet, Lucy maintains an active solo career and individual presence on social media, with over 50 million views on her music videos and over 600,000 followers across various platforms. Lucy is a recent graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Canadian violinist Martin Beaver.
