Vivian Kukiel
Vivian Kukiel is a violinist from Toronto, Canada. She was most recently awarded first prize at the 2022 Stepping Stone Competition and named one of CBC Music’s 30 hot Canadian classical musicians under 30. In the summer of 2018, Vivian was awarded first prize at the Ilona Fehér International Violin Competition in Budapest, Hungary. Vivian has soloed with the Academy Chamber Orchestra, the Toronto Sinfonietta, the Niagara Symphony, the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony and the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music’s pre-college program with Victor Danchenko, Jonathan Crow and Kelly Parkins-Lindstrom. She is currently a Bachelor of Music candidate at the Colburn Conservatory of Music, where she studies with Martin Beaver.
