Se-Doo Park

Winner of the inaugural Zara Nelsova Memorial Award, cellist Se-Doo Park's performances are taking her around the world. A versatile and in-demand musician, she enjoys a broad repertoire as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician.

She has collaborated with top artists in different genres, ranging from the world-renowned musicologist and pianist Robert Levin, to the singer Nathan Pacheco on his PBS Specials. She is a guest cellist with ARC Ensemble of Canada, and has performed at the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music. She was also selected to participate in several world-class festivals, including the Verbier Festival Academy—where she was awarded Prix Nicolas Firmenich de Violoncelle as “the cellist of the year” in 2013—and the Ravinia Festival.

Se-Doo Park makes her home in Baltimore, USA, where she is a member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, an active teacher, and a chamber musician. She is a founding member and the co-artistic director for Chamber Orchestra Canada.
